Adventure Through Time Starts Here

You never forget the books you loved as a kid. You never forget the poems you memorized, the first book you read until the cover fell off, the book you read hidden from your mother. What an honor to hold hands with a child’s imagination in this way. -Meg Medina

Author’s Biography

I began writing at age thirteen, though in those early years I rarely finished my stories. Everything changed in high school when a class project sparked the idea of writing a full book. As I worked on what would become the first novel in my Ripped in Time series, the characters began to take shape—many of whom I had imagined long before I ever put words on the page. My fascination with dinosaurs and prehistoric life began when I was a young boy, spending countless hours studying ancient creatures and the worlds they lived in. That passion eventually found its way into my writing. At seventeen, I published my first book, Ambulocetus in Abiquiu Lake, followed soon after by the rest of the series. The fifth installment, Great Auks in Gee Creek Wilderness, was released in 2023. I’m currently hard at work on books six and seven, which will take the Watchers on adventures that reach beyond time travel itself. Alongside writing, I am completing my studies in Computer Aided Design (CAD) at Ogden–Weber Technical College. I enjoy reading—especially history—listening to music, and watching computer animated films. I was raised by my grandparents, who adopted me, and I now live with my grandmother in Ogden, Utah

Adam Griffith’s book series is an exciting journey that uses imagination in a very interesting and thought-provoking way. In a world full of electronics, it is very refreshing to find a series of books that I can read with my grandchildren that they really enjoy. Looking forward to what comes next for this talented writer.

I love the author's description of characters and how he brought them together. The idea of a time machine wasn't a new concept, but the way this one worked is totally different. I'm ready for the next adventure returning all of the dinosaurs back to their own time. The author is careful to give us enough interest in this concept to keep us wanting more.

A young person writing science fiction was new for me. I quickly suspended disbelief and got on board with a time traveling team of kids and their off-the-wall dino friends. The adventure involved an accurately portrayed Ambulocetus. I learned facts that will stay with me about this ancient giant and look forward to seeing one in a museum someday.
